Abnormal warmth, threatening cold, flooding Delta rains and ??? will continue for the rest of this month per new modeling. It is never easy!
Next week low wind chills and abnormally cold air drops south out of Canada to cover the N and C Plains and Midwest. Some earlier than normal advanced hard and soft wheat may be vulnerable to this quick cold reversal (?) and sorrowfully, additional rainfall reaches the flooded regions of AR and Z (Wednesday shown).
A secondary surge of cold air (with some snow) potentially arrives across the Great Lakes, Ohio Valley and Northeast for a brief visit 910 days from now as the Plains and flooded Delta warms and dries (left)….but not for long (below)??
An end of month storm is indicated by today’s GFS dividing cold air to the N and very warm air again South and East with snow in the C Plains, and more heavy rain for the Delta (?)…March 25 shown.
